    Sign in to Huskies Get Hired (HGH)

    Sign in to the Huskies Get Hired employer login using your email address as your login name and your password.

    Post a Job

    From the home page, click Post a Job and then click Post a Job in on the bottom of your screen. To post at NIU for free, select Post to This School Only. This is for current NIU students and NIU alumni.

    Job Template: Required Fields

    The next screen is the job template. Any field with an asterisk indicates a required field.

    1. Select the position type: Hold down the control key to multi-select. For example, if your position could be considered either an internship or a part-time job.
    2. Restrict applications only if you have very specific requirements.
    3. Enter the job title.
    4. Copy and paste the job description from an existing document such as your website or a flyer or type it into the field.
    5. Select job functions that will attract the right candidates to your job.
    6. Career clusters: Select the ones that best describe this job position.
    7. Location: Begin typing the city name. Select the correct one by state and country. It will appear in the box below. You may list multiple locations; to remove a city, click the bubble with the city, state X.
    8. Enter hours per week. A range of hours per week is acceptable.
    9. Your job posting date: The default is today and the default/maximum range is 60 days. Click the calendar in each box to set the desired date students will first see your job and select the end date or type it in using the format provided. Year-Month-Day.

    Compensation

    Enter the amount without commas and select from the Frequency field dropdown menu whether the amount is an hourly or annual compensation rate.

    Application Instructions

    Receive resumes by email individually or as a bundle at the end of the application period. Opt in to add cover letter, transcript, writing sample or other documents such as references. If you have an application website, select Other and follow your company hiring guidelines.

    Work Authorization

    Always select Authorized to Work in U.S. If your company can sponsor an international candidate to work, multi-select that also. Multi-select the class levels you can consider for the position.

    Majors and Degree Levels

    Multi-select the majors that fit your job description and select those that best fit job requirements.

    Submit

    Click Submit or Save to finish later if you need to check a detail. Submit the posting when you are ready!
