It's never too early to plan your job search. In fact, we recommend checking out internship options as early as your first year. These career-related work experiences can give you skills and connections to help you find a full-time job in the future. They can be paid or unpaid and can take place during the summer or academic year.
As an NIU student, you already have a Huskies Get Hired account – a free, online tool that connects you with jobs, internships and career resources. Log in now to start exploring opportunities and making the most of your NIU experience.
If you're an alum and do not have an account, just reach out to us at 815-753-1642 or careerservices@niu.edu and we'll get you set up.
